"HighQuest I: Knowing Christ Deeply" is the natural starting place for the spiritual journey to begin because it equips women to develop their relationship with Christ by Meeting with God on a daily basis. Each day a short passage of Scripture is assigned for reading and reflection as well as making a personal response. The Meeting with God plan used in this book is very simple and doable by even very busy women. Although the plan is simple, it has proven to have a profound impact on the lives of women.
The passages assigned in "HighQuest I [WD]: His works" focus on a woman's personal identity in Christ. This is important because one of the qualities that makes a Christian woman "distinctive", is her confidence regarding who she is in Christ. Our culture is superficial and judges personal worth by outward appearances or accomplishments. Consequently, women are often confused about their personal value and who they really are. The purpose of "HighQuest I [WD]: His Works" is to clear away the confusion and establish a true understanding of a Christian woman's personal identity in Christ.
The topics covered in this unit are:
* God is my creator; therefore, I am wonderfully made
* God is my Father; therefore, I am His beloved child
* Christ is my Redeemer; therefore, I am set free
* God is merciful; therefore, I am forgiven
* Christ is Lord; therefore, I am dedicated to honor him
* Christ is leader; therefore, I have purpose
* Christ is the giver of new life; therefore, I am a new creation
* God is holy; therefore, I am set apart
* God is victorious; therefore, I can walk in victory
We invite you to join others in the quest to become: Women of Distinction!

We've just begun this guide, but I already love it! The format is daily journaling, which is great for teaching women to think through the Word and apply it. The choices of Scripture are well-thought-out; each day, I keep saying, "This is my favorite Scripture passage this week," only to read the next day's passage and say the same thing! We are using it in a small group, and I highly recommend it as a daily personal study guide, to be discussed together on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. However, I think it would also be very good for solo use, as well. Thanks to those of you who have put this together. Will likely be checking into the men's guides, as well, for my husband to use with male mentoring.
